What does the product actually do?+

Syndicate is a matchmaking platform. You build a profile (on a 45-min call with INSART). We match you to founders who fit your ICP. We write a warm intro email and send it to both parties. You take the call and close the deal.

There's no forum, no chat, no events. The output is a pipeline of real conversations with real buyers.

How fast do I get my first intro?+

Most members get their first intro within 3–5 days of the Profile Setup call.

We match you to 2–3 founders, write the email, and it goes out within a week. After that it's between you and them.

What if you can't find a match for me?+

We tell you on the Profile Setup call before you pay. We've turned away companies that don't have a fit in the current pool — that's the only honest answer.

If you join and intros stall, you cancel. We'd rather lose a member than burn the trust of the rest of the network with a bad intro.

What if I don't close a deal?+

You pay for membership, not per intro. If you're not getting value, you cancel — no contract.

We have no commission. Your success doesn't cost you more. But if you're building real product for fintech buyers, the first 1–2 intros typically cover years of subscription.

Will my competitors be in there?+

Probably not. We screen for direct overlap before letting anyone in. If we see a clash, we tell both sides and let you choose.

Worth noting: 'competitor' is usually a smaller worry than founders think. Most fintech wins are decided on relationship and execution, not feature parity.

How is this different from a Slack group or YC's startup network?+

Slack groups optimize for chat. We optimize for warm intros that convert. Different output, different design.

Accelerator networks are for portfolio companies and bound by stage/cohort. Syndicate is open to fintech founders at any stage — and we don't take equity.

Is this only for fintech companies?+

Right now: yes — fintech founders and companies that sell to fintech.

If you sell B2B to fintech (compliance tooling, data infra, dev tools, etc.), you're likely a fit. If you're unsure, email Bohdan and we'll tell you in 10 minutes.

Do I have to be a customer to be in the directory?+

Yes. The directory only contains paying members — that's what keeps signal high and tire-kickers out.
